Presidents Message

Hi Boca Skiers,

On behalf of the Boca Ski Club, I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Successful New Year.

We had a very nice group at the Holiday Party in December that had a lot of fun.  Everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting, good food and camaraderie.  Weather wise, we had a lot of luck, a bit windy, but no rain.  The fireworks were dazzling, bright and noisy, but due to the wind a little to much smoke.  I believe the party was a big success.

This Saturday 1/16/2010 the first Boca Ski Club group is departing for Telluride, CO.  We wish them a wonderful week with a lot of snow and sunshine.

There are still some pillows available for Aspen in February (Trip Leader: Tony Magna – TonyMagna@aol.com) and for Park City in March (Trip Leader: Michelle Sammartino – MgoTravel@hotmail.com).  See web site www.BocaSkiClub.com for more information.

If anybody is interested to be a trip leader for future trips (2011 ski season) contact Kathi – KSMcpa@bellsouth.net.

We also would like to wish Barbara Gideon a speedy recovery so you can get back to skiing.  We will all miss you on slopes.

Rolf Marti

1) Convenience. Pay, pack and participate. The trip leader makes all the arrangements for you.

2)  Premier Destinations. Ski resorts bid on the opportunity to host the Club.  Consequently the Club takes fantastic trips each year to popular ski areas domestic and international.

3) Economy. Because of the number of participants on each trip, you get better prices on lodging, lift tickets and airfare.

4) Friendship. Meet new friends with common interests, and a great way to network.

5) Fun. Parties, mountain picnics, apres ski and some meals are usually included in the price of the trip. We have a great time. What else do we need to say! Come ski with us! You'll be glad you did.
